Our Training Vision

All of our programming is individualised in order to maximise performance in the gym. After an in-depth assessment, we form a movement profile for each individual that steps through our doors for coaching and from there, we’re able to write an individualised program. 

We use both RPE and percentage based programming for all athletes and clients. A big focus of ours is educating our clients as to why we make the choices we do. Our goal is to build a team of autonomous lifters who are confident both inside and outside of the gym.

Membership - $24.50/week

This allows members to use our facilities 7 days a week during the trading hours. You have access to all equipment and can do your training as you wish.

In-House Coaching - $80/week

Many Avia Performance members join the community to take a purposeful step towards the achievement of their fitness goals. Allowing our coaching staff to create a individualised training programme for your goals, including nutrition, will turn your purposeful step into a giant leap.

Knowing that you have a professional programme to follow provides all the confidence and simplicity you could need – all you need to do is focus on is the training itself.

You also get one face to face coaching session a month to fine tune anything you need to give attention to.

Online Coaching - $66/week

A completely individualised training programme for your goals, including nutrition, will supercharge your strength and performance goals.

Finding the right professional programme to follow online is essential – we know that an individualised program is needed to be the better you.

1-on-1 Coaching - $111/week

A lot of members start with 1-1 coaching as it gives them an hour to focus purely on themselves with their coach. With this form of coaching, all training and nutrition programming is included. Your coach will go through your program with you and help you with any issues you may be having with your training

Nutrition For Performance

When it comes to training for performance, one of the most overlooked aspects is how to optimise your nutrition. This can make all the difference when it comes to competitions or game days. We work closely with registered nutritionists and dieticians to ensure success for all our competitive athletes.

Nutrition For Fat Loss/ Muscle Gain

Optimising your body composition takes effort and discipline. It’s not as easy as just training hard, you must also ensure your nutrition is geared towards your respective goals. There are so many methods out there to lose weight or build muscle. You have the low carb diet, keto, 5:2, low fat diets, the carnivore diet, the paleo diet etc. For those that find success with these diets and methods, do you know the common denominator they all share? For those that lose weight, they’re all in a calorie deficit. For those that gain weight using these methods, they’re all in a calorie surplus.

In order to lose weight, you must be in a calorie deficit. To gain muscle, you must be in a calorie surplus. It all sounds well and good, however the tricky part is finding a sustainable means of practise to continue to adhere to this. How many times have you started dieting and then quit after 2 weeks because you couldn’t wait to eat those ice-creams in the freezer? All of our nutrition protocols at Avia Performance are centred around sustainability. We want to cultivate habits in our clients and athletes that last a lifetime.

We have certain clients that enjoy the learning process of tracking their calories and macronutrients. It helps them to know what’s in their food and also whether or not their caloric intake is conducive to their goals. We have other members that despise the idea of tracking their food as it has the potential to lead to obsessive and anti-social behaviours. For this group, we might do a food diary so we get an understanding of what they’re eating and from there we can make suggestions and changes that inherently drop their caloric intake whilst still enjoying foods that they love and enjoy.

There are so many body composition methods we have in our toolkit and these are all governed by the same principles of weight loss and weight gain. They’re also 100% tailored towards our clients’ goals.

You do not need to track your calories. You do not need to eat solely ‘clean foods’. You don’t need to starve yourself to lose weight. You don’t need to eat like a pig to gain muscle.
